The Story

Mollie Vaughan is a Bean Feasa (wise woman), Community Activist, and Consultant. During the pandemic Mollie worked as a community arts worker and watched many of her mentors and peers struggle as this time highlighted the underlying fragility of our global community. Ingrained lateral violence had created a continual co-dependancy and competitiveness in the world which fostered endless cycles of trauma for many people. However, it wasn’t until her own ancestral pilgrimage did Mollie fully understand the impact that nurturing language and culture had on healing this global disease. Nowadays, you can find Mollie working with cultural practitioners (including the metaphysical, indigenous and creative communities) and the community services sector (including social service workers, counsellors/psychologist, allied health practitioners and community development organisations) who equally align with her vision.

‘The ability to hold a mirror to our societies, to shape its cultures and communities, striking down moral injustice and reminding each other of our spirit and interconnectedness with the land is a beautiful gift of transformation that sustains the very soul of humanity'

Vision

Having spent some years within the community space, I have become a passionate advocate for the ways in which the community and cultural sector preserves the stories of humanity; understanding that these stories and language are what ultimately provide a sense of identity, belonging and security for many communities. Through my business I wish to emulate these same qualities, providing services which emphasise the importance of maintaining mental and spiritual wellbeing to clients and supporting projects locally and abroad which focus on mental health and community development.
